For the parent who is still here

Losing a child can change every part of a person’s life: identity, relationships, faith, daily routine, memory, and the way the world feels. This kind of grief is not linear, and it does not follow a timeline. Some days may feel survivable. Other days may feel impossible.Nothing Happens for a Reason does not try to force meaning, positivity, or “everything happens for a reason” language onto loss. Instead, these conversations give space to the truth: grief can be messy, painful, isolating, and still deeply connected to love.

“Wherever you are in your grief today, you are not doing it wrong.”
